From 2010 to 2018, Instagram briefly tested screenshot notifications for stories but later removed the feature due to negative feedback. Now, only disappearing photos or videos in DMs trigger notifications.

Instead of taking screenshots, you can use Instagram’s Save and Collections feature to organize posts easily.
